Dionne Bromfield

Dionne Bromfield is a British singer-songwriter who made her entrance into the music industry in 2009 at just 13 years old, debuting with a standout performance of her hit single “Mama Said” on BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing.

She quickly emerged as a well-recognised force within the R&B and soul scene, praised for her rich vocals and timeless sound. Dionne was signed to Lioness Records, the label founded by her godmother and biggest champion, Amy Winehouse, in partnership with Universal Music Group via Island Records.

Her debut album, Introducing Dionne Bromfield (2009), broke into the UK Top 40, marking the arrival of a powerful new voice. She followed this with her second album, Good for the Soul (2011), which received critical acclaim and earned her a MOBO Award nomination for Best R&B/Soul Act.

After a period away from the spotlight, Dionne returned in late 2025 with her single “Girl”, followed by “Green Light” in early 2026. Working with Grammy Awardwinning production duo Blue Lab Beats, she continues to captivate audiences with smooth, soulful vocals and contemporary, groove-driven production. Dionne Bromfield is reclaiming her place as one of the UK’s most distinctive R&B/Soul artists
